DFG establishes focus program "AUDICTIVE"

The focus program "Auditive Cognition in Interactive Virtual Environments", abbreviated as AUDICTIVE, is one of 14 new focus programs of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG (German Reserach Foundation), planned for 2020. The program aims at supporting the exploration of current fields of research that are characterized by innovation and interdisziplinarity.

Coordinated by Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Janina Fels from RWTH Aachen's Institute of Technical Acoustics, the program is co-organized by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Torsten Kuhlen (RWTH Aachen), Univ.-Prof. Dr. Steven van de Par (Carl von Ossietzky University), Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Raake (TU Illmenau) as well as Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sabine Schlittmeier (RWTH Aachen).
