English Taught - Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Engineering (M.Sc.) - WS18/19 onward

This part of the curriculum is complemented by a large offer of laboratories, project works and seminars. In addition, there is an area of eligible courses which comprises courses from all other master study programs offered by the faculty. Finally there is an area of free elective courses from the entire RWTH course program, including courses in economy and soft skills, as well as language courses. German language courses are compulsory for every student who cannot certify a German language level of at least B1.
During the industrial internship of 18 weeks students are trained in solving current engineering problems at renowned industry partners. This is often the first step towards the student’s future professional career.
The master thesis is an independent, predefined scientific
project to be completed in a fixed period of six months. It is concluded by an oral presentation and defense of the results.

The master study program will be offering six different study programs:

Electrical Power Engineering (EPEN)

Communications Engineering (COMM)

Computer Engineering (COMP)

Micro- and Nanoelectronics (MINA)

Biomedical Systems Engineering (BMSE)

Systems and Automation (SYAT)
